Work: Pago de los Balagueses (D.O. Utiel-Requena)
There are wines that are themselves a Treaty of History. Nothing unusual, considering the past of a territory as the Iberian Peninsula, where there was a time when it was the end of the known world.
Pago de los Balagueses is a wine from the D.O. Utiel-Requena, made with grapes from a single vineyard that was long ago cultivated by the Iberians and whose wines were transported across the Mediterranean by the Phoenicians. The new label for its family of wines (Syrah, Grenache-Merlot and Chardonnay Tintorera) tells that story. And many more.
